I bought two skeins of this special cashmere blend sock yarn from Rainbow Peak Yarns on etsy and I was saving it for something special, but then one day I was like: “just use it!” So I cracked open one skein and casted on for a pair of No Purl Monkey socks, which is simple pattern that shows off fancy yarn well. It not a “real” pattern – it’s just the normal Monkey sock pattern but you knit all the stitches that would have been purls. (Hence the name!)
This yarn is UV reactive, which means it will light up under a blacklight – how cool is that? Rainbow Peak has a lot of colorways that are UV reactive – you can just type “blacklight” in the search bar in the shop and see them all. Party on!
