This is just a short post to show off some socks that I just finished. It’s the first time I’ve made Simple Skyp socks with a multi-colored yarn and I’m very pleased with how they turned out:
My pals gifted me this yarn after my sweet Roxy passed away this summer. They put together this beautiful basket full of yarn inspired by her coat colors. How amazing is that? This lovely skein of Plymouth Yarn Happy Feet was in the basket along with the Berroco Sesame that I made a scarf out of in January. I’m using the deep orange yarn at the front to make a shawl which is about 90% done, so keep an eye out for that one soon.
Like I said, quick post… it makes me a little sad to talk about Roxy.
