Knit Picks Felici Striped Socks: My Favorite!

Heads up! This post contains affiliate links which means I get may get a commission if you purchase something based on my recommendations here.

I currently have about 20 skeins of Knit Picks Felici Sock Yarn in my stash, and believe it or not, that’s a pretty tame number compared to some Felici fans!  Felici is an awesome (and incredibly affordable) self-striping sock yarn produced by Knit Picks.  They only produce one batch of most of the stripe patterns, so if you don’t buy it when it’s in stock, you may never see it again (hence the hoarding).

Here is my latest pair of Felici Socks made with a colorway called Rugby Player, which, unfortunately, is one of those colors you can’t buy anymore… sorry!  I love this colorway because it’s a near-match to the brand colors of the nonprofit I work for, BUILD.org, a.ka. the best youth entrepreneurship program in the country!

Knit Picks Felici Sock Yarn Idea

This particular colorway of Felici is a little atypical because the stripes vary in size so it was a really popular one for collectors.  If you spy a retired colorway of Felici that you desperately want, you can always check Ravelry to see if anyone is willing to sell it to you from their stash  – you might get lucky.  You can also check ebay for Felici or do an etsy search – sometimes you can find it in balls or machine-knitted into tubes, which you could unravel if you are desperate.  (Hint: be sure you are buying the fingering weight Felici Sock Yarn- it comes in other weights).  Always be extra careful any time you buy yarn from a home seller and inspect it for bugs before introducing it to the rest of your stash!

Without further ado, here are the details on these socks.
