I can’t decide what I love most about these socks: the gorgeous fuschia heathered sock yarn from Knit Picks or the delicate leaf-motif in this pattern by verybusy monkey. The yarn, Knit Picks Stroll in Paisley Heather is a lovely kind of pinky-purple yarn with little heathered bits of vibrant violet and blue. I think my favorite feature of the pattern, Little Leafy Socks, is the way the ribbing on the cuff blends seamlessly into the top of the lace pattern – it’s just such a thoughtful design element, right?
Knit Picks Stroll is 100% my go-to sock yarn. It is soft, durable, and super affordable at around $6 for a 50 gram ball of the solid or heathered sock yarn, like this one. Stroll also comes in tweed, tonal, gradient, and hand-painted colorways. Sadly, Knit Picks recently discontinued the glimmer variety, but they still sell it as a bare base yarn if you are into dying your own!)
Likewise, verybusymonkey is one of my go-to sock pattern designers, I highly recommend her stuff. Some of her designs require pretty large/elaborate charts, but I loved this one because it was a pretty short repeat so easier to follow along if you are new to charts.
For fun, here is another picture of the heathered beauties, then I’ll launch into the project details as usual.
