Every time I knit socks on 2.25mm needles I always swear I’m never doing it again because the project seems to knit up so slowly… but I always end up doing it again because that super fine gauge is just so nice. Am I right?
Though, in the case of these socks, I think any gauge or pattern would have been perfectly fine because it’s really this gorgeous hand-painted sock yarn that steals the show. I’m just over the moon with how lovely the subtle tonal variegations played out here. (And no pooling at the gusset!)
