I deeply regret selecting these dark needles for use with this dark yarn…  it’s so hard to see the stitches!

There’s not much to be done about it at this point.  It’s always a bad idea to switch needles mid-project –  I don’t want to risk it changing my gauge.  And I’m already on the heel gusset, so certainly not going to start over.  I guess I’m just stuck with this headache and must try to find some comfort in knowing that I have learned a valuable lesson!
