8 Quick Halloween Knitting Projects

Heads up! This post contains affiliate links which means I get may get a commission if you purchase something based on my recommendations here.

When I was a kiddo my mom used to handmake all of my Halloween costumes, which is something I never truly appreciated until grew up to become a maker… and a busy adult who has more important things on her plate than sewing an elaborate costume that will only be worn once.  Thank you, Mom!

Fast forward to 2020 and now there is this magic place called Etsy where you can get all your handmade Halloween goodness delivered to your doorstep.  Etsy is great because not everyone is a maker – and not every maker has time or skill to make everything themselves.  Check out Etsy’s Halloween Guide for all sorts of fun costumes, decorations, and spooky treats.

If you still prefer to make stuff yourself, then read on for some of my favorite Halloween knitting patterns.  They are all instant downloads and relatively quick knits that you can bang out by October 31st.

You are welcome! They were made with love each year! I think back on the many costumes created and I’m actually pretty proud of myself…but then again…there was the Hershey Kiss costume. Not all of them were super successful! 🙂

Which Hershey Kiss costume? The one where you wrapped me in foil or the one that was constructed around a hula hoop? I thought both were pretty epic!

You are welcome! They were made with love each year! Not all of them were super successful! The Hershey Kiss costume was anything but successful. But, I did learn from that mistake and made a much more successful one years later. 🙂
