Baby Belley Blanket

One of the most popular posts on my blog features the gorgeous baby blanket I made for my pal Jill’s granddaughter, Sophia.  I figured the jewel tone yarn on that blanket was so popular that I’d do it again this time for her newborn granddaughter, Charlotte.  I absolutely love this cheery yellow color – I hope Charlotte does too!

I knit this blanket up in Knit Picks Comfy yarn because it is soft, durable, and machine washable – perfect for babies.  The pattern is called Baby Avery – I really like how it alternates between stockinette and twisted stockinette between the zigzags.  My only complaint is that the pattern is all written instructions and I really can’t knit lace without a chart.  I ended up going to Stitch Fiddle and charting it out myself.
