This year I am participating in the Ravellenic Games for the first time. So excited! If you don’t know what the Ravellenic Games are, you can read more about it here, but the gist of it is that knitters and crocheters from all over the world work on knitting projects during the Olympic games and try to finish projects up before the Olympic torch is extinguished. You can “compete” in all sorts of different events and earn (digital) medals for completing your projects. It’s all very fun.
My main event is going to be Toy Tobogganing, for which I am going to crochet an adorable unicorn which will have a pretty rainbow mane, so I can march in the Rainbow Parade. It will also qualify for the Stash Skeleton event. I’m also entering the Aerial Unwind event twice (goodbye Tie Back Shell and Aunt Bev’s afghan….) and I’m hoping to finish up Tess for the WIPs Dancing event, but that all may be a bit much.
And the best part…. I’m a member of Team Freshstitches!! Yay!
