Another pair of Prairie Spring socks on my needles! This time with some stunning speckled yarn I picked up on my honeymoon… it’s been chilling in my stash for too long! This was a bit of an impulse cast on. I forgot how addictive this pattern is. They will no doubt knit up fast!

Notes & Such
  • This sock yarn is 80% Superwash U.S. Merino Wool / 20% Silk and it has beautiful shine! I’m hopeful the silk will add enough strength. I usually go for the nylon blend, but I’ve heard good things.
  • I don’t usually knit with 6” dpns, but when I do, it’s because I don’t want to have to change needles as often… like on these where the stitches hop between needles every 6 rows.
