Socks from Summer Lee book the Sock Project

My pal Jill lives close to an LYS and has fabulous taste in yarn! I was so happy when she gifted me this bright and cheery sock yarn from Hedgehog Fibres for Christmas, appropriately named “Pinkmas.” This yarn is kind of pricey to order online because it ships from Ireland, so I love that she could snag it locally.

I recently treated myself to a copy of Summer Lee’s book, The Sock Project, and I was so inspired by her bold use of color that I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone with this project by pairing the bright pink with some bright yellow. My risk-taking has been rewarded because I’m absolutely loving how these are turning out! I’m calling them my Happy Socks.
