How to Crochet Banana Slugs

I whipped up this crochet banana slug for a coworker who loves to ask funny questions like, “Would you rather eat a banana slug or _____?” I used a slug amigurumi pattern from Stacey Trock’s Cutie Crawlies, except I made this slug plushie extra cute and small by using leftover sock yarn and a tiny steel crochet hook.  (I’ve also used this same slug pattern with bulky yarn!)

And, for scale, here’s the little guy in my hand:
