I am 100% in love with this idea I saw on Pinterest, courtesy of Kirsten Kapur Designs.
Not only is the idea of crocheting over a cord awesome, but I am also absolutely in love with this yarn! Kirsten says in the blog post that it’s not available anymore because the company went out of business. I wonder if anyone has any ideas for a similar yarn? It’s just gorgeous!

That's a great idea! I would want to do this to personalize my cord so no one else at work accidentally grabs it.
