Delphine

I’m knitting a top called Delphine from the new book French Knits — but I got the pattern from the Spring IK. I like the name because Delphine was my “french name” in French class in Jr. High. It’s also the name of the lead Aqua Ranger, or something like that…
Anyway, I’m almost done. I just need to finish the back and do a quick 3 needle bind off on the shoulders. I think I’m also going to go around the edges with a crochet hook and make some cute picot edging. Here’s a progress pic:
It looks (and feels) atrociously skin-tight, but it’s going to stretch out a lot in blocking. (Let’s all just keep repeating that until it comes true, OK?)

I think it's lovely! I'd love to see the FO pictures.

Thanks! I actually finished up the back last night, so FO pics aren't too far off. The pattern has you block it before you join the shoulders — which is SO smart, because then you can add/remove rows to get them exactly the right length.

I didn't use the right CO and BO, so they aren't super stretchy. I'm hoping it won't be a huge problem in the final fit! We'll see….
